Drug Treatment

The recovery program at the Sundance Center is the product of years of research and experience. Around the clock care is vital, especially in the first few days of the healing process. We have a highly trained and professional staff to help our medical staff in the detoxification process of our residents.

Each resident receives individualized assessment upon arrival to establish their personal needs and level of care. Mending the elements that have been missing in the life of one who is chemically dependent become the focus and the first step in the treatment program. One must become liberated from not only their chemical dependencies, but from the multitude of past negative aspects in their life that have resulted from the addiction. This is attained through the development of a true sense of community, increased perception of self worth, and true companionship with our caring staff and others working to achieve the same goals. We place no limit on the length of stay, as no two client's needs are the same.

The treatment programs at the Sundance Center are progressive and cutting edge, incorporating such elements as Adventure therapy, Ropes Courses, and other exciting forms of alternative treatment. Each resident feels as they are an important part of the Sundance family, and there is never a reason you should experience any solitude while recovering. We also offer specialized programs to serve certain residents. These programs include Executive treatment, Young Adult Treatment, and Intervention programs.

Executive Program

The Sundance Center is more than perfect for the executive, corporate, and private working professionals seeking a release from the grip of chemical dependency. Luxurious suites with expansive views of the surrounding colorful desert are just the beginning of the many amenities offered in our bed and breakfast like center. When anonymity is most valued, we provide the home away from home our professional clients have been searching for. Through our non-obtrusive program, each individual is afforded the freedom to reestablish the levels of self-esteem and responsibility that helped in achieving the success they now have. Young Adult Program

Our philosophy is to guide and educate the young adults on the many dangers of the new so called "Club Drugs." There are many long-term consequences of using drugs at such a young age. Our young adult program is available for the late teens, 18 and over, when these addictions are most rampant. From the late high school years to the early college years, young adults are very vulnerable to peer pressure and the term "casual use." Through alternative treatment, adventure therapy and a unique understanding, the programs at the Sundance Center can offer an effective and successful recovery.

We encourage parents and family members to be fully active in our young adult program. From family groups, over the phone long distance sessions, and outdoor therapy our young adult therapists specialize in this treatment.
